Here is a superb wax seal base. In turned bronze, very heavy, it is made in several stages, and is decorated with a beautiful quality carving. In the center, Napoleon's sacred cabinet, involving an eagle in a draped textile, a sacred crown, a wreath of flowering laurels, and a medal with the number "N". Around it is marked: "Valentin Notaire à St-Flour, Tribunal Civil, Cantal". Taking into account the cabinet it is therefore an Imperial notary of the first empire..
