Lorraine Chair In Blackened Wood

Very pretty chair called "Lorraine" from the 19th century. With its large, typical openwork back, it rests on 4 legs connected by an H-shaped spacer. The front legs, baluster, are inspired by the Louis XIII style, the rear legs are straight. Handcrafted, it is entirely made of solid oak and fully doweled. It is in excellent condition, healthy and solid. An anti-pest treatment was applied. The dark shade has taken on a patina that tends to be black, which gives it a very pleasant appearance. It will be perfect as an accent chair in an entryway or as a bedroom chair.
