Height - 8 cm. Hallmark GAS for George Adam Schied and others (unredable).
Georg Adam Scheid was born in Württemberg in 1837. He initially worked in Pforzheim but relocated to Vienna in 1858, where he joined Michael Markowitsch's workshop and together they established the hallmark "M & S" starting in 1862. In 1882, they went their separate ways, and Scheid embarked on his own venture, eventually employing up to 300 workers, marked by "S.G. A." or "GAS." Scheid's most renowned creations are closely associated with the Austrian secessionist movement and benefited from collaborations with renowned artists like Koloman Moser, Josef Hoffmann, and Josef Maria Auchentaller.
