Rectangular tray with rounded edges in papier-mâché, from the Napoleon III period, presenting a rich Japanese polychrome decoration. Many characters in traditional clothing engage in fishing on a Japanese canoe, a ship, other fishermen and landscapes in the background. Good condition, the colors are very bright despite some very minor wear.
