"Oil On Canvas "bouquet Of Flowers" 19th Century"
Magnificent oil on canvas representing a bouquet of flowers in a basket resting on an entablature decorated with cherries, butterflies and ladybugs. The floral composition, very rustic and very colorful, is made of roses, cornflowers, poppies and umbellifers. The very loose appearance of this bouquet gives the whole thing a natural appearance while respecting a subtle and delicate composition. Small yoke on the back of the canvas. Canvas mounted on an old stretcher but which seems to have previously been reduced in size. Beautiful period Canal frame in gilded stucco. French School from the mid-19th century. Frame: 67cm x 60cm. Canvas: 46 cm x 38 cm.
