"Provençal Chest Of Drawers Louis XV Period"
Very beautiful Provençal chest of drawers, known as a sauté pan, from the Louis XV period. Originally from the Nîmes region, this chest of drawers has a very beautiful openwork crosspiece in stylized acanthus. Slightly curved on the front with two large storage drawers, it has drooping hands with dolphins on the back. Resting on four open legs, the front legs are superbly carved with acanthus and scrolls. The rear legs are also sculpted in shell. The tray is his and is in perfect condition. Made in this very beautiful Provençal blond walnut, its color leans more towards blond or honey.
