Portrait of a woman around 1900, Oil on canvas, signed lower left. By Fernand Desmoulin, 1858/1914. This close friend of Emile Zola, was trained by Bouguereau and Merson, he participated in the Salon des artistes Francais then at the Salon des Beaux-arts where he presented landscapes as well as portraits. At the same time, from the 1890s, he became interested in spiritist and mediumistic drawing. Our brightly colored portrait is in good condition. The frame is reported.
