"Louis XVI Period Mahogany Secretary."
Louis XVI secretary in mahogany and mahogany veneered on oak and softwood. It opens on the front in the upper part with a drawer, a leather-covered flap revealing six drawers, a locker and a shelf, as well as three stacked drawers in the lower part. The uprights are decorated with grooves and end with spinning top feet. The sides are two unequal panels separated by a molding. It is topped with white-veined gray Sainte-Anne marble with projections in the corners. Restorations from use and maintenance, leather from later periods. Very good quality mahogany. Very good state. W/D/H: 92.5 x 39 x 142 cm. Open flap depth: 85 cm. L/D/H of the flap: 80 x 52 x 71 cm.
