"18th Century Cutlery Or Mail Box In Golden Morocco With Small Irons And Coat Of Arms 18th Century Box"
Box with cut sides in wood covered in leather, with gilded decoration with small floral motifs in the lower part, and coat of arms to be identified, those of a prelate, on the front of the lid. It is most likely a box intended for storing cutlery, from the 18th century, later and as often transformed into a mail box, with three compartments inside covered with garnet-colored silk in used condition. Wrought iron top handle and lock, key missing. Dimensions: height 27 cm, width 16.5 cm, depth 10.5 cm. This object is generally in good condition, although one of the hinges has broken.
