"Nude Gouache Painting By Pierre Cornu"
Gouache painting from the mid-20th century representing a nude facing a window by Pierre Cornu. Very beautiful work created by this great painter recognized for his feminine subjects and his tawny palette. Here a typical work of the painter of women and the last of the wild beasts as art critics were wont to call him. Note the influence of his master Othon Friesz visible in this magnificent gouache which has retained all the vivacity of its colors.
