"Pair Barbizon School Adrien Rousseau"
Pair of oil on canvas from the Barbizon school from the end of the 19th century. Works painted and signed by Joseph Antoine Adrien ROUSSEAU born in Carpentras 1815 1851, student of Paul DELAROCHE and Jean Auguste Dominique INGRES. One depicting a landscape with a character in the forest and the other a walk in nature with a sunset. Beautiful gilded wooden frame, the interesting thing is that there is a pair. The whole is in perfect condition, the canvases have been restored, cleaned and varnished by a professional.
