Naked woman seated near a stove. Raymond Espinasse 1897-1985. Raymond Espinasse is a painter born in Toulouse. Professor at the Toulouse School of Fine Arts. He exhibited at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Tuileries. Raymond Espinasse decided to leave his hometown in 1925 to settle in Paris. It was at the beginning of this century that he discovered new aesthetic data: Fauvism and Cubism. During the day, he teaches graphic art at the School of Fine Arts as a lecturer by the Syndicat du Livre, and works for 11 magazines (Revue de Lausanne, Revue de l'Académie Française, etc.). At night, he paints in his studio on rue Montparnasse.
