"Pair Still Life Signed Riehl"
Pair of paintings representing baskets of fruit. Oil on canvas dating from the 19th century. The artist painter is Philippe Thiébaut RIEHL (1825-1888) He specialized in the representation of fruits with realistic colors and a beautiful texture. A student of Lavieille, he participated in his first salon in 1879. The paintings measure: 73.5 x 54.5 cm. They were restored by an approved French museum painting restorer. We will still note a slight lack of tension in the canvases.
