Paul Buyssens (1897, Ghent-1994, Switzerland)
Belgian pointillist painter of still lifes, figures and stylized landscapes. Garden architect.
Student at the Brussels Academy. Influenced by the work of Seurat. Characterized by a singular stylization where the shapes are determined by a black line which surrounds spaces filled with small juxtaposed dots.
Exhibited at the "Salon Triennal d'Antwerp" in 1926, at the "46th Salon in Ghent in 1937.
