This flat middle desk, in solid and veneered mahogany, opens with two side drawers of the same dimensions and a lower central one due to the slight offset of the leg passage. Their facades, made of burr mahogany, are surrounded by brass ogee moldings and miter-cut wooden strips. These drawers are equipped with functional original locks with keys and surface-mounted entries. The other front as well as the sides have the same composition simulating false drawers at the back. These elements rest on four fluted feet with raised rings and spindles ending in brass shoes. The top is composed of a miter-cut frame, two crosspieces and three identical panels. Its perimeter is covered with a brass element, covering the edge and the top, comprising on the edge a quarter round with two fine squares.
