Pair of vases on pedestal in Paris Porcelain, green and gold enameled with decoration of flowers in reserves. 19th century period. Height 40 cm, Width. 15 cm. Good condition, no cracks, no accidents to the porcelain, some wear to the gilding, notably the pine cones on the lids. Height 40cm x Width 15cm What we think: a very decorative pair of vases in good condition with real dimensions. DID YOU KNOW ? : blue is the preferred color of more than half of the Western population (50%) ahead of green (20%) and red (10%). Under the Ancien Régimes, green was considered the color of destiny and luck and is attached to circumstances and rituals where chance intervenes. Hence the attribution for the gaming tables, green since the 16th century.
