Model 1873 navy revolver. Caliber 12 mm dated 1878. Functional mechanism (no play, perfect indexing), barrel chambers in good condition, beautiful scratches and interior of the barrel in very good condition, light walnut plates with bright grids. No. 1474 entirely at the same number. It bears on the upper side of the barrel the marking Mle 1873. M (M for modified which can be found on the front of the barrel) attesting to a new passage in the factory. The marine anchor is present under the stock cap. The manufacturing marking is very clear on the right side. Piece close to new. This weapon was manufactured for the Navy in approximately 18,000 copies between 1877 and 1886 officially. - Category D.
