"Diane Au Bain, Garden Statue In Reconstituted Stone After Falconet (1716-1791), XXth Century"
Very elegant garden statue in reconstituted stone after the sculpture "Diane au Bain" by Etienne Maurice Falconet (1716-1791). This statue is made in the second half of the 20th century. It is in good used condition but has some defects specific to its method of manufacture (small honeycombed hollows at the level of the hair in particular / see photos)) and material changes (at the level of the neck). This superb decorative element adorned the winter garden of its former owners and was never exposed to the exterior elements, the statue was therefore not altered by the vagaries of the weather.
