"Louis XVI Sloping Desk, 18th Century, In Walnut."
This "donkey's back" desk opens with two drawers on the front and an inclined flap, supported by 2 'compasses' and lined with old black leather. It conceals an interior fitted out with 5 drawers and 2 compartments. The sides have 2 flat panels framed by fluted-rudented uprights which also hold the projecting front crossbar. Elegant provincial work in perfect original condition.
