"Rare Emile Galle Wall Exaggeration"
Emile GALLE 1846-1904 Poppy model wall shelf in carved beech opening in the lower part with a double door and in the upper part on an open niche surmounted by a shelf surrounded by a moucharabieh frieze resting on two twisted uprights ending in the upper part by stylized poppy poricides. Rich inlaid decoration in exotic woods of a lake landscape in the lower part, and stylized flowers in the upper part. Signed "E.Gallé" in the marquetry. Around 1890-1892. 65 x 69 x 27 cm.
