Superb coffee and mocha service from Maison Rouard 24 avenue de l'opéra Paris. Georges ROUARD 1874 1929 is an erudite art lover, a collector, in 1920 he introduced himself as a ceramist and glassmaker, owner of Maison La Paix and president of the union chamber of ceramics and glassware, departmental inspector of technical education as well as a member of the board of directors of the Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs. But it was in 1900 that he took over at 34 Avenue de L'Opéra in Paris, the management of the sales house 3 A LA PAIX "founded 20 years earlier by Jules Mabut.
