"Galien-laloue Eugène (1854 – 1941) Alias Reyne - Village By The Water - Gouache "
Beautiful gouache by Eugène Galien-Laloue, representing the entrance to a village on the banks of a river. The composition is particularly well balanced, with a bouquet of trees and a mill in the center, the village on the right and two women chatting on a path on the left. Very delicate work, like the gouaches of Galien-Laloue, so sought after.Work signed Ch. Reyne lower right, one of Galien-Laloue's most common pseudonyms.
Work in perfect condition. Framed under Marie-Louise and glass, modern frame.
