"Louis XVI Period Clock."
Rare model of a pendulum in white Carrara marble decorated with bronze, finely chiseled, in three golds (rose gold, matte and shiny yellow gold). Wire movement by Viart in Paris referenced in 1772 and 1775 in the Tardy. Movement not serviced but in working order. Enameled dial signed on the bottom (see photo). Half-moon shaped balance wheel and original key. All in very good state of conservation. Paris circa 1780 - 1785.
