Silver bronze, more unusual than other decorative bronze techniques, refers to the process of coating soft bronze objects with thin layers of silver, the process has a much longer lifespan than silver plating, closer to solid silver, and will never need plating.
The very beautiful silver finish was used for antique candelabras and small sculptures throughout the 19th century.
All original, in good condition, with traces of rust on the lampshade. The silver will polish very well. An increasingly rare lamp from around 1880. The lamp is in working condition, however, it must be rewired according to the safety standards of the respective country.
