Magnificent console in rosewood veneer and lemon inlays. It rests on the front, on two console legs finished with lion's claws in rosewood and pilasters at the back. All resting on ball feet at the front. Top of gray-brown veined marble (marble split in two and formerly glued back together). It is decorated with very fine marquetry of nets, scrolls, foliage and bouquets of roses. No belt drawer. French work around 1840.
