Pair of paintings painted around 1950 by Henri Ethevenaux* representing the seascapes of Brittany and more precisely in Morbihan (56) on the Quiberon peninsula, the first is entitled Wave Effects near Portivy and the second Pointe de Beg an Aud view from the observatory, in the town of Saint Pierre Quiberon.
sold as is, comes from an estate in Trinité-sur-mer.

*Henri Constant Emmanuel Ethevenaux, French landscape painter and book illustrator, was born on June 11, 1894 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges (Seine-et-Oise). He combines his work as an artist with his job as a teacher. Henri Ethevenaux died in Meudon, near Paris, on November 11, 1968.
