"Mle An IX Pistol"
Model An IX cavalry pistol from the St Etienne factory.Plate engraved "Manuf Nale de St Etienne", hallmarked with the S of Claude Soviche, controller from 1797 to 1807.
Left side of the barrel hallmarked with the B of Antoine Blachon, controller from 1798 to 1812. Right side stamped RF and bearing the illegible hallmark of the inspector.
All trims are marked with the stared G of the controller Joseph Guichard (1802 - 1826).
The stock, on the plate side, bears the stared G, on the counter plate side, the B of Blachon.
Weapon in good condition, never touched.
