"Tea Coffee Service In Silver Metal & Wood By Christofle, Design Christian Fjerdingstad - Art Deco 1933"

Tea coffee service model Tonnelet designed and produced in 1933 by the famous designer Christian Fjerdingstad (1891-1968) for Christofle Paris. It is the combination of geometric lines highlighted by curvatures and concentric circles that have made the success and reputation of this unique Art Deco service in silver-plated metal and with handles in precious rosewood. Teapot, creamer, sugar bowl and silver tray make up this set which has contributed to the reputation of the Christofle goldsmith through the best tables and the largest luxury liners, notably the SS Normandie. Christofle signature and goldsmith's mark on each piece.
