Artist: Demeter Chiparus
Bronze sculpture presenting a group consisting of an elegant woman and a greyhound. The scene, composed of a woman providing care to the animal's leg, is titled "hunting accident" on the cartridge. Through this award-winning work at the show as signified by the original cartoche, we immediately recognize the Art Deco style of DH Chiparus. The sculpture is placed on a sea green marble base. Small wear to the patina. (The dimensions below are those of the sculpture excluding the base).
