"Vassou, Half Moon Console In Mahogany Louis XVI Period"
Console in mahogany and mahogany veneer, opening with a drawer on the front, white marble top, resting on 4 fluted spindle legs, mahogany shelf, sober and elegant model from the Louis XVI period This console is stamped Vassou maitre on January 28 1767, he became known for his production of pretty furniture, almost all from the Louis XVI period, often veneer furniture with sober lines with few bronzes. The console presented here is a "good" example.
