Spectacular and rare landscape of Corsica by Constant Louche signed lower left and entitled Corte Restonica (the gorges of Restonica) Presented in its beautiful original carved wooden frame Constant LOUCHE (1880-1965): Born in Algiers, c It was in this city that he began his studies, then in Paris, at the École des Beaux-Arts after obtaining a scholarship. He exhibited in Algiers from 1907. He is one of the best representatives of Algerian landscape painters. He travels throughout Algeria but also to Morocco, Tunisia and Corsica. His paintings frequently adopt large formats and bright, warm colors.
