"French 19th Century Large Crystal Chandelier Of 12 Lights"
A glittering gilt brass, bronze and cut crystal tiered chandelier of twelve lights, dating from the second half of the 19th century. This truly magnificent piece features a crisply cut central baluster stem, from which twelve delicately curved bronze candle arms radiate outwards, each one terminating in a brass drip tray, hung with cut crystal 'cravats' and linked with sweeping crystal chains in a bowl-shape below. The wirework top canopies are adorned with cut cut- crystal drops, while a delicately faceted ball completes the crystal arrangement below.
