"The Mill - Sand Automatic 1830"
Rare small animated sand diorama. A sand transfer system visible at the rear turns the mill wheel. These sand machines were in vogue at the end of the 18th century and during the first half of the 19th century. Beautiful original condition (small gaps in braid) and in working order. 13 x 9.5 x 4.5cm
