Pair Of Snake Sconces In Gilt Bronze Late 19th Century

A very fine set of two late 19th-century sconces in gilt bronze decorated with two snakes entwined around a rosette ending in a cornucopia. This interlacing is reminiscent of a caduceus.
This pair of sconces has two arms, each ending in a light.
