(restoration to scabbard)
This Koerambe features a curved, single-edged blade made of pamor, and a wooden handle that extends from the blade and is pierced in the centre to improve the user's grip. In fact, the thumb would slide into the handle and the dagger would point upwards.
The wooden scabbard is incised with semi-circles, stylised leafy motifs and two circular apertures - all reminiscent of a creature whose tail would be the engraved end of the scabbard.
