Face 1B: A horizontal dial with a needle dial named Quantitas DIEI (Length of the day) engraved with declination line, numbered 8-16 and the signs of the zodiac marked in black. The vertical dial is engraved with a graduated time scale VI-XII-VI subdivided into 30 Minutes. Central decoration representing a sun. Engravings of animals and people. Face 2B: The internal face of the base plate is a horizontal dial with a 4-12-8 time scale in black divided into 30 minutes and 15 minutes.
