Romantic Miniature The Bride's Sunset After Baudouin Ref565

Large romantic miniature framed under glass in a gilded bronze hanging frame, it is a hand-painted gouache on a noble support representing "The Sunset of the Bride" after a painting by the painter Pierre-Antoine Baudouin ( 1723 - 1769).

The original painting painted in 1767 is kept at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa.

This charming miniature executed with talent dates from the 19th century, anonymous author, no signature.

It is in good condition, not cracked, the colors are bright, there is no wear on the paint.
