"Marquetry Pedestal Table, 19th Century"
Large Oval-shaped Pedestal Table, In Flower Marquetry, opening to a Drawer on the Front, from the 18th Century. It opens on the front with a Large Drawer. Its Top is covered with Turquin Blue Marble, surrounded by an openwork Gallery in Gilt Bronze. It rests on 4 sheathed feet, fitted with small gilded bronze. The belt is in Rosewood and Amaranth marquetry, in frames surrounded by light wood fillets. The spacer is covered with a pretty precious wood marquetry representing a Bouquet of Flowers as if delicately placed on this spacer. It measures 66 cm in length, 51 cm in width and 75 cm in height. It can be used as an end table, or as a living room table for tea.
