Old & large fan dating from the reign of Louis XVI; Painted silk sheet decorated with a gallant scene. Three young people making offerings at the temple of love. A young woman playing music, a young man offering a dove and a young woman a wreath of flowers. Ivory strands carved and enhanced with polychromy. Leaf enhanced with embroidered metal patches. On the back are the music attributes. In very good condition, some wear to the leaf. 53cm in diameter
