"“beach Scene” Georges Castaing (1895 - 1971)"
CASTAING Georges (1895 - 1971) Painter of portraits, nudes, landscapes. Expressionist. He was a student of Lucien Jonas and Michel Dupuy. He exhibited in Paris, from 1930 to 1968 at the Salon des Artistes Indépendants, and from 1946 at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he became a member. Oil on canvas cardboard signed lower right countersigned on the back. Small folds at the bottom left “see Photo”, otherwise it is in very good condition. Format: 33 x 46 cm with frame: 47 x 59.5 cm
