Japanese vase with hand-painted scenes depicting traditionally dressed women with children in a landscape. The foot and spout of the vase are decorated with gold ornamental friezes on a dark blue background.

Satsuma ceramic, painted and gilded.

Japan, Meiji / Taisho era, early 20th century. Signature as it appears in the photograph.

Height 39 cm.

Very good condition, slight rubbing of the gilding.
