Tristan Maya was the pen name of Jean Maton, born in 1926, and died in 2000, was a French writer, poet, novelist, literary critic and bookseller. Member of the Writers' Union committee, friend of Guy Tristan, Roland Topor, André Ruellan. He was also a member of the Académie du Morvan and worked as a bookseller in Orléans. This work was part of the Bernadac collection. Put on sale in 2004, this collection brought together drawings by writers.
