"Religiouse Clock In Boulle Marquetry By L. Tallon Paris 18th Century"
"Religieuse" type clock, made in France at the very beginning of 18th century, circa 1710-1720. Signed on the mechanism plate and on the bronze plaque on the front - "L. TALLON PARIS". The clock case is made using the "boulle" technique from sheet brass, silver and tortoiseshell. The facade ornament representing god of time Chronos and the other ornaments are in gilded bronze.
