"Money Cabinet Inlaid XVIII Secolo"
Money cabinet, with 11 drawers and 4 doors finely inlaid with depictions of cities, landscapes and ruins. Sides also inlaid with landscapes and top inlaid with diamonds. The perspective inlays used to decorate the cabinet take us back to the manufacture of Rolo (Re) around the mid-18th century. However, in terms of compositional taste, the link between Rolo's furniture and the Piedmontese ones inlaid "in villages" as well as with the German examples appears undeniable.
