Tomb Commode 2nd half 18th from eastern France. It opens with four drawers in 3 rows and is veneered in Cuban mahogany with acacia reserves highlighted with coral wood fillet with Greeks in the corners. This chest of drawers is entirely made of fir, as was very common in the 18th century for this type of furniture, with clean bottoms between drawers. It is topped with a very beautiful royal red marble (Languedoc) highlighted with a corbin beak. Beautiful decoration of Louis XVI bronzes of very good quality. Chest of drawers in perfect condition, varnished with a stamp and entirely from the period (locks, keys, bronzes, marble).
