"Napoléon III Fireplace, Ca. 1870"
Beautiful antique fireplace, found in a 'Maison Maître' in Belgium-Brussels. Napoléon III period (1852-1871). Made out of the whitest Carrara marble: Statuary, so no veins at all. The shelf is double moulded, the frieze is decorated with a central-panel, depicting Acanthus-leaves. The end-blocks are finely carved with leaves of the oak-tree. The jambs are decorated with flutes and small asparagus-heads. This fireplace is a 'surround', that means it has extra deep side-panels and shelf-retours, but can be also replaced as an front-model. Fireplace will be delivered with original, old marble floortiles, to make a frontfloor. Also available: Decortiles in grey-black, to finish the foyer and another frontfloor, see photo's. Worldwide shipping. Delivery within Europe can be done by Antique Fireplaces First: 'In House Delivery'.
