"Oil Plate And Drawings By Roger Besombes"
Very beautiful plate of preparatory drawings and two oils on thick paper by the great French painter, engraver and sculptor of the second school of Paris. Born January 17, 1913 in Paris and died August 9, 1994 in Ivry sur Seine. Painter who traveled to North Africa, having made some orientalist paintings, in 1930 he settled in Paris 5th quai St Michel. Here two pretty oils of flowers and fruits from which we immediately recognize its style and its pictorial and colorful quality. Signed board. Missing is a work which must certainly have been cut and framed by the family! Approximate size of oils 25 x15 cm. As well as the drawings, not to be missed! Rare and original to find boards from his workshop. Stunning!!
