Louis XVI Fireplace, 'demi Lune' In Brocatelle-marble

 This striking, antique fireplace is made out of the Brocatelle-Violette du Jura marble, during the second half of the nineteenth century.  It is modest-decorated with flutes (canelures) on its frieze and jambs. The shelf is double moulded and has rounded corners. A Louis XVI style fireplace would fit well, with most modern-room designs.  The expressive colors of the Brocatelle marble gives relief to this elegant fireplace. Fireplace will be delivered with original, old Carrara marble floortiles, to finish a frontfloor.
