Tristan Lacroix Hunting Watercolor 1882: 52 x 34.8 cm Tristan Lacroix was born in 1862 in Périgueux in Dordogne. Animal painter, landscape, still life, sculptor. He participated in the Paris Salon from 1883 to 1895, obtaining an honorable mention in 1883 for painting and in 1886, for sculpture. Bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1889. He very often animates his landscapes with animals. Listed on Bénézit and ''the little masters of Schurr's painting.
