Pair Of 50s Armchairs

Here is a comfortable pair of armchairs with a typical 1950s design. Their design is very close to the "Troïka" model created by Pierre Guariche for Airborne around 1960. These are armchairs of French origin circa 1950. These armchairs have been completely restored, inside and out. They are upholstered with a good quality mottled blue furnishing fabric, a blend of cotton, wool, linen and technical fibers (photos taken in natural light, a little darker indoors). Fabric so quite cool in summer and very warm in winter. The filling is completely sewn by hand. They rest on tapered metal legs, brass look, ending with a small slide mounted on a ball joint. Here is a pretty pair of armchairs with a well-structured design and undeniable comfort which will find its place in most interiors.
